Saudi Arabia’s U.S. embassy incurred the wrath of CNN’s Jake Tapper after it known as for a probe into media stories that the dominion’s crown prince was behind the 2018 hacking of a cellphone belonging to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
The embassy denied the story and demanded an investigation “in order that we are able to have all of the information out.”
“Nice concept,” Tapper fired again on Twitter.
“There was a revered Washington Publish columnist who I might like to have examine the matter, however you killed him,” Tapper added.

Tapper was referencing the October 2018 killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which U.S. intelligence officers consider was ordered by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Saudi officers have repeatedly denied the hyperlink. 5 individuals in December have been sentenced to demise for the killing and three extra have been jailed. Human rights consultants have questioned the legitimacy of the trial.
